In which Brooklynite Mattson Ogg guides us on a pair of gorgeous drone 'n' guitar excursions; we're everso pleased to be issuing the apparent debut tape from his Dura project.

Taking their joyous time to fully unfold, "10.25.12" and "Tired Waves" – recorded as Hurricane Sandy ravaged – shimmer with hope, and excite with atmospheric crunch. Hints of understated acoustic American Primitivism and touches of avant-atonality ring throughout. As such, these pieces are among the finest of their sort to truly engulf us since, well, Matthew Riley's work for A Beard of Snails, circa 2011.
